One of the more versatile rappers that emerged from the “Dirty South” school of hip-hop in the early 2000’s, multi Gold and Grammy nominated North Carolina native Petey Pablo has demonstrated the art of mixing poignancy with sharp lyrics that reach across age, race and social status. The gruff voiced emcee was born and raised in Greenville, NC and is best known for rap anthems “Raise Up,” “Freek-A-Leek” and “Carolina Colors” which became mainstays on urban radio and is sports stadiums across the country.
“Raise Up” peaked at #1 on the US Billboard Rap chart and #25 on the Billboard Top 100. “Freek-A-Leek” climbed to #2. In addition to his solo-career, Petey has collaborated with Ciara (“Goodies”), Timbaland (“Red Bone”), Chris Brown (“Drop Rap”), Lil Wayne (“Gangsta Shit”) and many others. Petey has demonstrated his versatility with roles in Drumline, Just Another Day and most recently on Empire, a guest appearance that included writing and performing “Snitch Bitch” alongside Terrance Howard on the episode.
His albums Diary of A Sinner: 1st Entry (which was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album and included production from Timbaland) and Still Writing In My Diary: 2nd Entry(which included production from Timbaland, Kanye West, Scott Storch, Mannie Fresh & Lil Jon) showcase diverse efforts from stereotypical Dirty South decadence to poignant, autobiographical material that reflect on the hardships and challenges he experienced growing up in the deep south.

Slip-N-Slide recording artist, Mike Smiff, teamed up with Quality Control’s City Girls on an explicit new record called “4 1 Nite.” The track serves as a tete-a-tete of which sex can out do the other. Produced by Schife, the two artists go back and forth expressing their annoyance and hate for each other.
While revealing their true
feelings, the two artists raise the question of, what would they do if
one or the other was untrue for just one night?
With guidance from Trick Daddy as Smiff’s mentor, Mike was officially signed to Miami’s own, Slip-N-Slide Records. He recently released his project, “Chase Dis Money,” which received over 1 Million streams and views.Smiff is expected to release another project this fall.

In an era where hate is lurking around every corner, nothing seems to be more cynical than synthetic support. Philly based producer turned recording artist, PromoBoi is no stranger to the concept and addresses it on his latest leak “Fake Luv.” With an affinity for lyricism and storytelling, PromoBoi has been making music for over a decade. Splitting his time between Miami and The City of Brotherly Love, the seasoned creative has had the opportunity to work with “Get Smoked” rapper Lil Mouse, Marques Houston, and Empire actor Yazz as well as PnB Rock, Mila J, and Tory Lanez. Following past distribution agreements with Slip N Slide and Interscope, PromoBoi has recently signed a new agreement with Kolbalt‘s recorded-music division AWAL in conjunction with the release of his new song. Stream the track below and expect it to hit all major DSP’s by the end of the week.
After a handful of visuals and quick-strike releases under her belt, T-Spazz is ready to make her mark with the audio debut of “Who’s Bad?.” A clever flip of Michael Jackson‘s “Wanna Be Startin Somethin” and “Bad,” the high energy track is perfect for the afternoon commute from work or pre-game party starter. Raised by a single mother in the Southeast region of the nation’s capital, she used hip-hop to escape the harsh reality of gangs, gun violence, and drugs lurking just outside her front door. What began as simply creating dance routines to popular songs on the radio quickly turned into full-blown performances that resulted in her winning a handful of local talent shows during her early teens. Now a full grown woman and mother herself, she’s poised to shoot her shot at rap superstardom!
