When the idea of interior design comes to mind people automatically portray it as the art or process of constructing the inside of a room or building. I see interior design as much more. Have you ever thought about the interior design of a car? From the selection of leather to trimmings to sewings to LED lighting to wood-grain accents, there is an essence of interior design in vehicles. To take it even a step further, the aspect of music makes this concept even more intriguing. The power music has to alter moods, warm the heart, and brighten the darkest days can bring an entire new outlook to interior design. Bringing music to a specific place can have the same effects on people as choosing a certain wallpaper, marble floors or crown molding. With this project I curated music selections that would create a setting that appeals to the late night, 3 am car journeys on the way to whatever destination you see fit. Whether it’s on the way home or to the person you care about most, this project should make that trip much more meaningful. – “Interior Design” by Mike Nasty
