“Too Long” also serves as the second single off his third album and first full-length independent offering, Coming of Age [EMPIRE], available everywhere September 15th. At just 12-years-old Sammie‘s debut single “I Like It” propelled him into superstardom. The single was included on his 2000 debut album From The Bottom To the Top and peaked in the Top 10 on the Billboard R&B Chart. His second studio album Sammie included the hit singles “You Should Be My Girl” featuring Sean Paul of YoungBloodz, and “Come With Me.” Along the way, Sammie was featured on Soulja Boy‘s Billboard Top 5 single “Kiss Me Thru the Phone” and co-wrote Tank‘s “Next Breath.” In 2016, Sammie released the 6-track EP, I’m Him, after a snippet of the title track went viral garnering over 2 million streams on Spotify.
