Tristan Dunn Shows Love to G-Unit in “G UNIT” Visual

Tristan Dunn is quickly becoming one of the leading frontrunners of trap rap’s resurgence. He’s good friends with Waka Flocka and, recently, turned down a lucrative deal with Brick Squad so he can focus on building his own brand, Murder Solves Everything (MSE). He’s not looking for any cheat codes or quick claims to fame – he’s building something organically. How many people do you know that do it this way today?

His latest, “G UNIT” is a celebration of early aughts gangster. The infamous collective G-Unit led the game in older days thanks to their authenticity and mafioso brand made clear in their music and their movements. Dunn shows his appreciation through a trap anthem that sounds deliciously nostalgic, bringing the early 2000s back around. Dunn’s on his way with startling force.

“Untitled” (Remix by Zilla Rocca) Ft. Killer Mike x Pastor Troy

6 months ago, I released what I consider one of the best projects I ever created, ‘A World Only Gods Know.” Alpha & I spent three years crafting an album I would be proud to release to the world. While the album has been successful, there were people who felt that some records would benefit from a different sound. I decided upon an east-coast, sample based sound and had my supporters choose their favorite records.

I reached out to a ton of really dope producers – Camoflauge Monk, Jason/Griff, LÓrange, Disco Vietnam, Zilla Rocca, Tony Dark, Doe Pesci, and Farma Beats for this project, and it has come out oh so dope!

The first leak, “Untitled,” was remixed by the esteemed Zilla Rocca (Career Crooks, 3 Dollar Pistol, and features Killer Mike and Pastor Troy.
