A lot of artists have 100 plus songs under their belt and still wonder why they haven’t got “on” yet.
So until you know that you’ve found your sound as an artist, don’t try to knock out as many songs as you can in one studio session. Find one record (at a time) that you love, and perfect it. It only takes one hit. 😏

If you ‘promise’ to be a stand-up guy, you could have a chance with PatriceLIVE. The D.C. native puts on for her hometown in the exclusive video premiere of her latest single “Promise.”
On the Kevin Rutledge-produced track, which is inspired by the sounds of Go-Go, the rising star confesses the many ways a man can earn her love and trust. Once he pledges that he won’t break her heart, she declares, “there’s nothing I won’t give to you.”
For the neighborhood video, directed by Zack David, PatriceLIVE came up with the concept soon after recording “Promise.”
“I wanted to be on the street in the heart of my city and perform my own version of our homegrown music — Go-Go,” she told Rated R&B in a statement. “Zack [David] took my vision and brought it to life.”
“Promise” is the first offering from PatriceLIVE’s sophomore album, ‘Wonder Woman,’ to receive video treatment. She promises to “release a few more videos later in the year.”
Although 2018 is half over, PatriceLIVE has a lot more in store. “This year I had a goal of 150 performances. To date, I am at 69 so I am excited to see how the year will end.”
PatriceLIVE also plans to relaunch her Wonder Woman web series to follow her “pretty eventful” professional and personal life. Make sure to subscribe to her YouTube page to see it all play out.
