Lil Mikey TMB Drops “Different Breed” Music Video [Stream ‘Truth Be Told’ Hosted By DJ Scream]

Lil Mikey TMB just released the official music video to “Different Breed” which appears on his latest mixtape, ‘Truth Be Told’ hosted by DJ Scream.

Meet Lil Mikey TMB:

Lil Mikey TMB, short for The Money Boy, is an artist from East Oakland, California born and raised on 96 and Cherry St. to be exact. Music has always been in Mikey’s DNA as his uncle Money-B was a part of the legendary funk and rap group, Digital Underground.

10 years ago, Lil Mikey wouldn’t have believed that he would have a career in music as he was heavily involved in the street life, selling dope and living recklessly. After losing close friends, being shot a total of 5 times on 3 different occasions by the age of 23, and waking up from a coma after 3 weeks, Lil Mikey realized it was time to change and relocated to Vegas.

While in Vegas, Lil Mikey reconnected with his current management and longtime acquaintance, Champagne Elite Music Group who flew Mikey to Miami to be around his label at the time, Foreign Gang. Mikey observed the priority artists and the lifestyle. He survived a rigorous year long artist development and perfected the art of hyping a crowd, similar to Tupac and Digital Underground.

Foreign Gang soon demised but Lil Mikey furthered his relationship with Champagne Elite Music Group as they shared the same vision. There was no turning back to the streets or prison and Lil Mikey credits Lil Wayne and the Hot Boyz as his main influences. Mikey is hoping to create a lasting legacy and motivate young people who can identify with him to get money live better and think outside of the world they live.

Lil Mikey released his first official single “Crack Spot” in 2016 which caught the attention of Hoodrich’s, DJ Scream. DJ Scream later connected Mikey with 21 Savage and Hoodrich Pablo Juan who both appeared on his debut mixtape, ‘Eastside Nino’.

‘Eastside Nino’ was released 2016 hosted by DJ Scream and featured Trouble, Nef the Pharaoh, Mr Fab, Mishon, and Philthy Rich.

Lil Mikey has since appeared on major publications such as Sway In The Morning, VLAD TV,  ThisIs50 and The Progress Report and he just released his second mixtape, ‘Truth Be Told’ hosted by DJ Scream. The project released February 16th and will features a verse from Tracy T and melodies from Jasmin Cadavid.

Nefew debuts ‘Definition Of It’ mixtape hosted by DJ Scream

In support of his debut project, Definition of It, Nefew (pronounced like nephew) has rolled through with not only his latest single, “Da Partments,” but also the entire album, ‘Definition Of It’ — DJ Scream, who was one of Nefew’s earliest supporters, hosts the mixtape.

“The definition of a youngin’ growing up in Atlanta with no father figure who got it out the mud — that’s me,” Nefew explained in a press release. “A lot of rappers try to overcompensate by having guns and drugs in they videos ’cause they trying to convince the world into believing they’re something they not. Everything I rap about I’ve done and Atlanta know that. When they look at me, they know that, they’ve seen me do it, they hear it in my voice.”

Nefew is the newest artist under Bases Loaded Records, the production company behind many of ATL’s recent acts like Cash Out, Love & Hip Hop’s Solo Lucci and internet sensation Lil Wop.

[MIXTAPE] Gafa Gamy – Cocaine Slavery (Hosted By DJ Scream & DJ Q Memphis)

https://spinrilla.com/mixtapes/gafa-gamy-cocaine-slavery

Gafa Gamy is a Hip Hop recording artist from Atlanta, GA. Music has always served as a safety net and source of relief for the emcee. From losing both parents at an early age and learning to be a man through the streets, Gafa realized his pain could be turned into a musical diary.

Gafa recently linked with DJ Scream and DJ Q of Memphis & MMG for his new project, Cocaine Slavery. The term “Cocaine Slavery” is interrelated to any industry, simply meaning that every type of employment contains a form of slavery. Based off the design of the American system, the big fish profits from the small fish, with no expectation that the small fish could ever dominate the big fish. Gafa’s music and story sheds light on the contrary.

Selecting DJ Scream & DJ Q to host Cocaine Slavery is both strategic and timely. Musicians must possess a mixture of street credibility, artistry, and pizazz to have such legends vouch for their movement.

Cocaine Slavery rides like an album, listeners can get a sense of Gafa’s personality and character from the records. Gafa is more than a hustler, he is a father, a brother, and an U.S. citizen. Records such as “Plug Talk” & “The Real Wold” detail conversations between a hustler and his plug and the importance of loyalty.

The project features verses from Atlanta’s music Gods, Gucci Mane & T.I. and an array of production from 808 Mafia, Mike Will Made It, Kash Clay & Gafa co-produced several records.

Stay up to date with Gafa via IG @GafaGamy & Twitter @Gafa_Gamy.
