he created an epic piece of art”.  Cooper went on to say, “We filmed this about
3 years ago and I am happy the entire world will now finally get the chance to enjoy this… this single/video was always intended on being the cornerstone of my album (God’s Will)… I still can’t believe that Sean P is now gone in the physical form… I am honored to have worked with him, build with him and meet his wonderful family.”

Blood Before Pride feat. Sean Price – “Move Units”

Blood Before Pride’s deft blending of Rock and Hip-Hop continues with their heavy new single, “Move Units,” which features a stand out guest verse from the late, legendary Sean Price.

It’s the second track we’re hearing from the East Coast outfit that’s fronted by Phil Anastasia, whose talents go beyond the slick talk you hear on “Move Units.” He’s a gifted producer as well, and served as the executive producer of Rock of Heltah Skeltah’s Rockness A.P. (After Price), which was largely produced by his bandmate, Pascal Zumaque.

It’s Zumaque who helps bring that extra something special to the chugging “Move Units,” which comes as no surprise, given his involvement on Rockness A.P. He co-produced a majority of the tracks on Rock’s record, so it’s only fitting he’d continue building his connection with Anastasia and Blood Before Pride. That’s especially true given that Rock appeared on the band’s debut single, a cover of Beastie Boys classic “Looking Down the Barrel of a Gun,” alongside M.O.P.’s Lil Fame.

It’s those musical Easter Eggs that solidify the bridge built between the band’s roots in Hip-Hop and rock, in addition to the actual players involved.

Blood Before Pride’s Mimesis, Catharsis, and the Imitation of Art in Life will be released on 10-20-17 by Digital Deju Vu Records.
