Freebandz artist, Lil Freaky , continues to build buzz with the release of the audio and visual to his newest summer smash, “Rich or Broke,” produced by Smitti Boi. “Rich or Broke” is Lil Freaky’s follow-up to “Dripset,” featuring Future. The visual, directed by Fydo, begins with Freaky sitting on his throne with diamonds shining and smoke in the air. Teaming up with producer Smitti Boi, Lil Freaky raps over a suspenseful sample, and moving bass line that takes you on a ride.
Hip hop artist Stalley (@stalley) today announced the appointment of long-time producer and engineer, Smitti Boi (@therealsmitti), as the head of A&R for his label Blue Collar Gang (BGC), effective immediately. Smitti’s new role includes overseeing the label’s music output from a lyrical and sonic perspective, while also finding and developing new and existing talent for BCG. He will play an active role in advising on projects and placements for the label’s roster of artists and producers.
The Atlanta-based producer and former MMG hip hop artist first met backstage at A3C music festival a few years ago, which later led to a studio session and eventual friendship. Stalley and Smitti are currently working on a collaborative project that will drop later this year. Smitti Boi’s producer credits include CeeLo Green, Boosie Badazz, B.o.B., Stalley, Curren$y, Starlito and more.
On his new appointment, Smitti Boi said, “My goal is to bring everything I can to Blue Collar Gang. I want to give the fans great music from not only Stalley, but the entire roster of BCG talent.” While he will continue producing music for other artists, his primary and day-to-day focus will be elevating the label and its artists.
After premiering his debut song Bim Bim featuring OG Maco & King Los late last year, the upcoming Atlanta-based rapper Gilles (pronounced “Jeels”) drops a new track called “Count it up tomorrow” featuring Legendary Memphis Rapper Project Pat. The hard-hitting soulful track is produced by Smitti Boi who credits include ( Cee-lo Green, Boosie Badazz, Curren$y, B.O.B and most recently Nick Grant’s “Drug Lord Couture” to name a few. As for the record itself, think of it as a concise open letter to all your flexing friends but still probably slow to congratulate you when something good happens to you.
After Dropping “Stay There” last week featuring Sy Ari Da Kid,Phene and Soufboi. Producer Smitti Boi Teams back up with the Soufboi, Phene and Micxsic for the track/video No Pain No Glory. All three exchange verses about “No Pain No Glory” on a Soulfoul beat with loud horns and hard drums. Soufboi will be releasing his mixtape Only 4 Da Real this summer. Phene is also working on a project due later this Summer. Definitely hope to hear more collaborations with these 3 Mc’s in the future.

The Smitti Boi produced song also features rappers Phene and Soufboi. The three rappers trade verses on this gritty beat to let everyone know once you leave my corner “Stay There”. Sy Ari Da Kid highly anticipated album “S.O.O.N 2″ EP drops this Summer along with Phene And Soufboi dropping projects later this year.
