Vanessa exclaims, “No one can fully understand how victorious I feel about my EP debuting “Top 10” on Billboard.  They locked me up and  tried to break me, but I can’t be broken, I am still standing.”
The perfect title for her EP, Still Standing follows the release of the visual for “10 Bags” which displays Vanessa Bling as the boss she truly is.  Early support for Vanessa and “10 Bags” was given by outlets such as Fader, Bossip, Earmilk, Jamaica’s daily newspaper, the Jamaican Star, and the MTV of Jamaica [name of outlet and clip please].

Still Standing follows a four-year involuntary hiatus from music for Vanessa Bling.  In 2010, she was signed to her mentor and reggae superstar, Vybz Kartel and quickly began performing across the globe in support of his hit song “Clarks,” which features Bling and Popcaan.
Bling was set to break into the U.S. market, when sadly, Vybz Kartel’s controversial 2011 arrest changed her trajectory.  Soon thereafter, Vanessa found herself at the center of one of Jamaica’s most high-profile criminal cases and for the next three years, as she endured imprisonment, probation, travel and work restrictions, Vanessa fought to prove her innocence while never losing sight of her goals.
Her debut EP, Still Standing’s is a true accomplishment and a testament to Vanessa Bling’s faith.  In addition, it’s high debut, after her hiatus, proves that her fanbase has been loyally waiting for her return.
Also, in addition to her fans, it still pleases Bling to know that her music touched Cardi B, who in 2017 played her song “Everything Fi Hold Him” as the background music for her engagement IG video.

In the coming months, Bling will continue to promote Still Standing, in the US but also internationally.  She is set to go out on a Caribbean and European tour and will also make stops in Dubai and Israel.
