From the poignant opening line, “my mama lost me to the streets”, it’s clear that rapper Dumaka isn’t shying away from keeping it honest on his newly released single entitled “Lost Me to the Streets” produced by BabyFeez. The piano and percussion infused production helps paint a vivid picture of the street life and obstacles that the Bay area rapper faced to get to the top. Now, based in Atlanta, Dumaka is remaining consistent in unapologetically sharing his past experiences through his music.

While this won’t be on his forthcoming project releasing in February, Dumaka is using this record as a glance into his versatile style that ranges from trap heavy to pop and melodic sounds. After meeting BabyFeez through mutual friends, the duo were able to curate what can be considered a hustler’s anthem to add to Dumako’s arsenal of music with “Lost Me to the Streets”.

Whether BabyFeez is providing the beat or not, Dumaka has a sound that’s hard to miss and fans have come to love his honesty. He plans to keep the releases coming in the new year with his track “Siamese” following this one along with a series of new visuals and records to hold fans over until the project drops.

Spilly 6200 is one of Ohio’s most promising rappers and for his first full length project he enlisted mega producer RAKZ FIFTH to executive produce it. ‘SPILLIN’ RAKZ’, which plays homage to both of their names, clocks in at a little over 20 minutes and finds Spilly in his most authentic state.

With RAKZ FIFTH providing the production playground, Spilly 6200 effortlessly makes each track his own with a blend of his fast paced flow and clever wordplay. From the introduction to the last song on ‘SPILLIN’ RAKZ’, the 6200 rapper sticks to what he knows — money, the hustle, and the streets. “I just want them to know it’s authentic across the board,” he explains about the project. “This is not a whole tape talking about and glorifying shit I ain’t lived or going through,” he continues. Tracks like “Make it Back” and “Skam Wrong” are proof of this as he grabs assistance from artists like Seezyn and Midwest Milly for verses. Other features come from 6200 Rob Da Builderr and RAKS FIFTH who comes out of the producer side to drop some bars on the stand out track “Blitz”.

While this is the first full length project from Spilly 6200, the young rapper has been making music for quite some time now and has plans to keep the momentum going. Spilly 6200 is preparing to release some new features including one with YNJAY, visuals, performances and even another project by the first quarter of 2022.

Growing up, FDW BayBay would live between Cincinnati, Ohio and Hickory, North Carolina with both cities becoming an anchor for him starting his rap career. Like most artists, his songs would focus on the struggles he faced while coming up in the streets, but the rapper never let his circumstances get the best of him. Instead, he’s forged his own lane in the industry while working alongside some heavy hitters such as Gunna, Moneybag Yo, Blac Youngsta, NoCap  and Rich Homie Quan to name a few.

FDW BayBay, whose birth name is Adonis Miguel Rutherford, has been rapping for roughly twelve years but began to take the craft more seriously in the past six years. In that time, he’s built a discography of music that combines the melodic, trap-infused records his fans have grown to love with up-tempo cuts like that of “No Cappin” featuring Gunna. It’s the stories of his fast lifestyle that has his audience intrigued, allowing the young rapper to boast millions of listens across all streaming platforms.

Following his single “Reversible” with NoCap, FDW BayBay is keeping his fans laced with his latest release “In My Bag” with Rich Homie Quan which released December 3rd produced by Al Geno. When asked about the collaboration, FDW BayBay states, “The song is more about being in my bag like I was slacking but I had to get back to myself now I’m up we winning and everybody saying we acting different, but we’re not acting different, we’re just moving different, you can’t move the same when you’re up we don’t have the same mindset and little money we once had, we’re on a bigger scale. And I decided to run with Quan because he’s a legend in the game always wanted to link with him. Also, me or Quan haven’t dropped in a while so why not come out together with a banger I met him and it was perfect timing”

The official music video for “In My Bag” was filmed by GT Films in Atlanta, GA.

Fast forward to today, Bigga Rankin is 100% behind Lou Vellvito’s career.

When asked about the inspiration behind the record and visual, Lou Vellvito states, “It’s based on the film ‘Goodfellas’ but I’m also speaking on an actual street in St. Louis also this video captures the suit wearing mobster look which is a first for me just selling the title of the song and my name Lou Vellvito is a mobster type name so it goes hand in hand”.

The visual was filmed in Miami directed by Vick Supreme and features a cameo by Young Money’s Gudda Gudda. When asked about the inspiration behind the record, Lil Mikey TMB states that he misses the fun in music and wanted to create something outside of the popularized depressed sound in Hip Hop.

“The song just came from me living my normal day to day life I was riding around smoking looking at all my diamonds just thinking like damn I’m the shit and that I know there’s a lot of jealousy and envy in the air so I need to be ready that’s why on the song u hear me saying “diamonds on me “I’m not trusting “No One” stick on me and I’m upping my gun competing with myself I’m not seeing “No One” so I just wanted to create a cocky song I can feel good and pop my shit to and motivate the trap cause everybody sound depressed now” (Lil Mikey TMB)
