Baltimore native, Baby Kahlo made her debut in December of 2017 with a freestyle recording over Famous Dex’s “Geek on a B*tch”. Since then, Kahlo continues to shine and break through with hit single’s like “Down 2 Go” , “Multiply”, and her eye catching visuals for her song “Trance”. Kahlo has performed along some of the hottest new female artist’s like Yung Baby Tate, Deetranada, Sukihana, and more during Atlanta artist, Bali Baby’s “Play Girl World Tour”. Since then Kahlo has performed for numerous occasions in Baltimore, New York, Atlanta, Philadelphia, and all over the DMV at events such as A3C Music Festival and Boiler Room.
Today Kahlo surprises her fans with the release of her powerful yet playful debut extended play “Queen of Swords”. The title is inspired by the Queen of Swords tarot card, representing a woman who comes into your life and steps in to guide you when you are feeling vulnerable. She will protect you, and help you solve a problem, it can also represent open-mindedness and self-reliance. Pulling this card may mean that the intended receiver may be suppressing some pain or sadness from past events. Kahlo’s EP is all about releasing those energies and preparing for the blessings to come in the new year and beyond. What a better way to start off 2020 than to release some baggage? The four track extended play was produced by John Tyler, Ansyl from YNL Sounds, and Sanchezbby. Kahlo shocks the world yet again as she teases new flows, and quite a bit of singing. This extended play is a only teaser for what Baby Kahlo wants you to expect from her debut mixtape, scheduled to drop later this year.
