Burgeoning DMV Rap Phenom, Q Da Fool, Releases Anticipated EP “Deaf Wish”

Q Da Fool, a rising artist known for his vigorous rap style that demands the ears of listeners, is kicking off 3rd quarter with his debut 2020 EP – Deaf Wish. This 8-song collective features unfiltered lyrics over heavy-hitting beats such as buzzing singles ‘Wit My Rounds” ft. OhGeesy of Shoreline Mafia and lead single ‘Bad News’. Known for his relentless lifestyle and keen way of storytelling, Q Da Fool has quickly become a fan-fav amongst the new generation of hip-hop lovers and a strong voice of the young, wild and free. “There were intentions behind my choice of spelling. The title of my EP is, Deaf Wish because I was tired of hearing other’s opinions and wanted to silence those. People are going through real things right now, so I needed to go hard for my followers. The body of work is still for the streets, but I took more time recording than ever before,” Q Da Fool professed.

Diversifying his arsenal, Deaf Wish, offers insight into how he got off the streets, motivation to get money, an evolving ethos and hardbody DMV anthems. The auto-tune-tinged opener, “Battle Field,” details strife ahead of garnering a record deal and recognizing patterns that result in returning to jail. “Deaf Wish was a prelude to a DMV-styled LP. I want people around the globe to hear my music. The album (name to be announced) will drop closely behind my EP – introducing listeners to where I am from,” he confirmed.

Ultimately, Q Da Fool‘s expanding catalog has validated his calling to magnify the culture surrounding the District. Through Roc Nation, swaggering stanzas and two fast-approaching projects, the rhymer possesses the DNA of a hip-hop mainstay. Deaf Wish is street-savvy, brimming with adroit metaphors and plays audibly cohesive; posturing the rapper to take his full-length debut LP worldwide.
