What is your name and what city do you rep?
DIAB10 (Diablo) from Denver, CO
Tell us about your latest releases, what inspired you to create them?
My latest release is my mixtape series called “5280 Baby” Vol. 1 . I was inspired to bring exposure to my city most people don’t even know there’s black people here yet alone black culture which we got a lot of.
What is unique about you and your music?
I think what’s unique about me is I’m not afraid to talk about the tough situations nobody wants to address in a way that’s still coo and bumpin for the audience.
What shaped your music?
Just growing up in Denver living life having kids young being exposed to a lot at a young age really helped shaped my image and message.
When did you realize you were going to make music professionally?
I realized right when I was about to have my first daughter back in May 2017. I already had kids before but this was really the wake up call that I wanted to do something big in life and something I love to do.
What type of music do you listen to?
I listen to all types of music mainly west coast rap mix it up with some R&B.
What inspires you to write music?
Wanting to share a story that’s unknown to the mass, public events, and realistic situations we all been through like relationships
What do you do when you don’t do music (creative or otherwise) and that you are passionate about?
I’m a entrepreneur first I love the grind and hustle it gets me up early everyday.

What do you wish you were told when you first started making music that you think would help artists just starting out?
You gotta put some money into this. It don’t gotta be a lot but you gotta start learning them budgets and where to put your money so you can get the results you lookin for.

Right now I’m working on “5280 Baby Vol. 2” the latest from my 5280 Baby mixtape series just exposing y’all to this Denver lifestyle.
