Rising Memphis spitter Hopout Shawn is “17 living his dream” and he’s ready to take it all the way to the top with his new video single “Pose” featuring fellow Southern riser YTB Fatt. “Pose,” which appears on Shawn’s upcoming September project Seventeen, is a loud-and-clear message from Shawn to the rest of the rap game, as he snaps a series of aspirational flexes that allude to his bright future. While the song is defined by a creeping piano bassline and swirling arpeggios and features a guest verse from YTB Fatt, the video finds Shawn and Fatt mobbing backstage with BreadGang’s Big Homiie G, Lil Meech, and more backstage at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena during the first date on Moneybagg Yo’s “Larger Than Life Tour.”
