Rostrum Records signee My Favorite Color served up an auto-themed double single that tells two sides of a story, shares “car pack.” On these two singles, the Pittsburgh native leans into the natural rasp and grain of his delivery, giving us a classic feel that feels familiar but fluid at the same time. The first track, “Pink Lac,” describes a relationship that revolves around materialistic values and status, like being able to ride around sunny Los Angeles in a convertible pink Cadillac. On the flip side, “Nissan” represents that ride-or-die type of relationship, where somebody will be with you whether you have a pink Cadillac or a beat-up, gray Nissan.
