PatriceLIVE Takes Over The Streets of D.C. In The Zack David-Directed Clip For “Promise”

If you ‘promise’ to be a stand-up guy, you could have a chance with PatriceLIVE. The D.C. native puts on for her hometown in the exclusive video premiere of her latest single “Promise.”

On the Kevin Rutledge-produced track, which is inspired by the sounds of Go-Go, the rising star confesses the many ways a man can earn her love and trust. Once he pledges that he won’t break her heart, she declares, “there’s nothing I won’t give to you.”

For the neighborhood video, directed by Zack David, PatriceLIVE came up with the concept soon after recording “Promise.”

“I wanted to be on the street in the heart of my city and perform my own version of our homegrown music — Go-Go,” she told Rated R&B in a statement. “Zack [David] took my vision and brought it to life.”

“Promise” is the first offering from PatriceLIVE’s sophomore album,Wonder Woman,’ to receive video treatment. She promises to “release a few more videos later in the year.”

Although 2018 is half over, PatriceLIVE has a lot more in store. “This year I had a goal of 150 performances. To date, I am at 69 so I am excited to see how the year will end.”
