GodBliss ushers in new release, ‘A Taste of Heaven,’ off sophomore album, The Crucible.
Hailing from the Bronx, NY, Bliss, like so many were influenced by Hip-Hop music at an early age. Writing rhymes at just 10-years-old, his source of inspiration wasn’t far: His mother was a notable rapper herself, and his father, a well known DJ. The culture is part of his legacy.
Godbliss is well known throughout the underground music circuit. Among the numerous artists who have featured on his singles are Wu Tang Clan’s Inspectah Deck, Kool G Rap, Saigon, Sadat X of Brand Nubian, Grand Daddy IU, K-Rino and J-Lyn. Touring world-wide has contributed to his expansive, multi-racial cult following.
Bliss adds to his burgeoning catalog, “A Taste of Heaven,” produced by Cratez. He says of the single, “This is about envisioning the finer things in life. I make some creative references that remind me of being in a state of euphoria… It’s having a taste of heaven.”
