Bay Area artist Dumaka releases “Siamese” with BabyFeez

“Siamese” acts as a stand-alone offering from rapper Dumaka as we won’t find this one on his upcoming project expected this February. Instead, the single is another example of what happens when the Bay area rapper joins forces with mega producer BabyFeez. As a frequent collaborator of the artist, BabyFeez lays out the perfect soundscape for Dumaka to share some of the lessons he’s learned from hustling in the streets.

When you combine the raw lyrics of the rapper with the solid production provided, the outcome is a street anthem with melodic, trap elements about drugs, money, and the fast life. One thing Dumaka does consistently is share his real-life experiences on the track, but recently he’s been taking his fan’s thoughts into consideration. “I’ve really been putting out records and letting the fans decide which of my newer styles they like the best,” he explains as he’s been sharing a more versatile sound when it comes to his recent music.

Up next for Dumaka is his forthcoming project titled ‘Reminisce’ which is sure to show a smoother side to the rapper as he plans to release a series of slowed down singles to prepare fans for the full-length project. Following “Siamese,” Dumaka is waiting for the ideal time to share new videos and drop a new record titled “John Stockton”.

More on Jonn Piazza:

The merge of hip hop and R&B in recent years has allowed artists to flourish among the two genres. When it comes to style, singer/songwriter Jonn Piazza has effortlessly blended the sounds of R&B, hip hop, jazz, classical and reggae to create something so unique, yet resonating. The Bay Area artist impresses with his resume and even more with his ability to put his style of music on display.

As a student of music, Piazza learned to draw emotion from his listeners early on and equate their experiences in a sonic way. He produces his own music, which is a rare feat for artists these days. It’s not surprising the route that Jonn Piazza has taken under the mentorship of the LA Based musical collective House Of Vibe All Stars. He’s been able to tap into a star studded network including Chali 2na from Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli, Res, and super producer Colin Wolfe (The Chronic, Crazy Sexy Cool, and Gettin’ It). Recently, Jonn Piazza lended vocals to Colin Hay’s (Men at Work) single “I’m Walking Here” in honor of Trayvon Martin’s death.

“When speaking of Jonn Piazza you gotta say ‘Triple Threat’,” exclaims Chali 2na. “This guy is the whole package, and anyone who disagrees hasn’t seen what he can do!” Piazza just released his first official single for 2020 titled “Whatcha Gone Do”, produced and written by him.

Quote From The Artist:

This album is my solo follow up to The Good Panda EP, which I released in 2016. It will be the first full length album I’ve released since Let’s Just Be Friends in 2015. The album is a simple message to myself to “Be Fucking Happy”. There’s been many times in my life where I’ve struggled with depression, where I’ve been so focused on the future that I forgot to enjoy the present, and where I’ve prioritized other things before my happiness. But, when I look around me I see so many blessings and beautiful things that I feel like an idiot for not being able to find my happiness amongst all of it. This album is a reminder to me to get out of my own head and get out of my own way, and just enjoy the beauty that surrounds me every day, or at least to try harder to do so. –J.Lately
