Central Cee came from nothing to become one of the UK’s biggest rap stars, but he’s still haunted and motivated by his days in Shepherd’s Bush. Baring his soul about his past sins and current stardom, Cench shares Ungrateful,” the latest video from his new mixtape 23Nimbly navigating a wistful instrumental from Levi Lennox, Cench digs deep, speaking the truth about his reluctant stardom and wondering if he truly deserves the success he achieved.  In the video, Central relaxes in a luxurious flat, counting his cash as he wonders whether it was all worth it

Central Cee Unites the Continent with Multi-Lingual “Eurovision” Video

Bubbling up in the streets of Chicago in the early 2010s, drill has evolved into a worldwide phenomenon. Central Cee, one of the biggest stars of the red hot UK scene, recruits an all-star array of drillers from all over the continent in “Eurovision,” his new music video. Produced by Flem, Young Chencs & NKO, “Eurovision” bares no resemblance to the music of the Europe-wide song contest that gives the track its name, instead bringing ethereal choirs, militant snares, and sliding 808s to create an apocalyptic atmosphere.

Central Cee Goes On A Training Mission in “Khabib” Video Off His Upcoming ’23’ Project.

Rapidly rising with his relatable lyrics and stutter-stepping flow, Central Cee is one of the UK rap scene’s biggest breakthrough stars. Celebrating his artistic and commercial triumphs in the face of nonbelievers, Cench shares Khabib,” a new music video. Named after the Russian UFC champion–whose victory speech delivered in the face of jeers is sampled on the track’s outro–”Khabib” finds the West London emcee doing a victory dance on haters’ graves over mournful strings and invigorating drill percussion. Fitting his fast-paced flow snugly atop the hi-hat pattern, Cench taunts potential partners who left him on read, brags about his tabloid exploits, and stresses how he’s built different from his competition: ““I met a lot of these rappers, and we ain’t got a lot in common,” he spits. Along with the song, Cench shares the epic new video for “Khabib,” shot in the remote cliffside woods of Snowdonia, Wales.

Central Cee Releases Live Performance Of “Commitment Issues” for Vevo DSCVR

Vevo, the world’s leading music video network, announces the release of Central Cee’s DSCVR performance of “Commitment Issues” off his new mixtape, Wild West. Vevo DSCVR focuses on the development of emerging artists, through performance content and careful curation. Vevo has a long history of helping emerging artists break through to new and wider audiences. Past alumni of Vevo’s DSCVR series include JAY1, NSG and DUCKWRTH. Vevo is committed to working with artists at an early stage of their career to create unique content that brings their music to life visually and provides exposure to new audiences through the platform.

Central Cee is proving himself to be one of London’s most exciting artists. Central Cee first came on the scene toward the end of 2010s, debuting with 2017’s “Over You.” His early career was characterized by the melodic trap of the era, with Cee opting for bouncy instrumentals and Auto-Tune-driven melodies on tracks like “TRANSITION” and “JUGG.” However, in 2020 the rapper found himself drawn to a different style entirely — U.K. drill. Kicking off the year with a “Day in the Life,” Cee’s skating flows proved a natural match for the genre’s faster-paced sonics, which he continued to develop with the gritty “Molly” and a bold showing on Kenny Allstar’s Mad About Bars.
