Chicago’s K.O. Mason Gets An Orchestra on His New Visual “Street Poetry”

K.O. Mason is a thought provoking artist from the East Side of Chicago who promotes intellectualism, healthy self-expression, and achievement as an African-American man.

In his most recent single, Street Poetry, the video pays tribute to marching bands at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCU), including Edward Waters University’s “Triple Threat” marching band, home to the world-renowned “Triple Threat” marching band through the visual. Significantly, this ties into an ongoing partnership between K.O. ‘s management M&S’s and the Propel Center. The partnership was inspired by the need to bridge the gap between HBCUs and the entertainment industry through education of software that will be personally taught by Apple experts.
