Rain was in the forecast for the final day of Rolling Loud New York, but instead the 55k+ attendees of Rolling Loud New York 2021 were treated to beautiful fall weather, the sun poking through the clouds for much of the day before a slight drizzle at night. The autumn breeze carried sounds from all three stages across the festival, transporting the music of rap’s biggest names from Citi Field out to the Long Island Sound.

The night ended with a spectacular performance from Travis Scott, who closed the night with his usual spectacle, but before he took the Deleón Stage, fans were treated to standout sets from artists ranged from gritty mafiosos like Griselda to hyperactive SoundCloud risers like SoFaygo to flex-heavy trappers like Young Dolph and Key Glock. Saturday’s fest had an unmistakable NYC flavor, with performances from fan favorites like Lil TJayFivio ForeignA$AP Ferg, and risers like Rah SwishDUSTY LOCANE, and more.

Founded by Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, Rolling Loud’s second foray into the Big Apple continues the festival’s mission to bring back live hip-hop after a too long absence. In December, Rolling Loud returns with Rolling Loud California, bringing headliners like Kid Cudi, J. Cole, and Future, and many more of the best rappers on the West Coast and beyond.

Fresco Trey Teams With Lil Tjay For “Feel Good” Single & Music Video

Today, Memphis artist Fresco Trey returns with a sunny smash to cap off the summer “Feel Good,” featuring Bronx rapper Lil Tjay. The buoyant track arrives alongside an appropriately laidback video. It also marks the announcement of Trey’s debut EP, Heartbreak Diaries arriving October 1st, a release full of the sort of emotional, blurry-eyed anthems that have earned him millions of streams and praise from the likes of HipHopDXLyrical Lemonade, and many more.

Built around a breezy guitar line, the “Feel Good” instrumental is the perfect canvas for Trey and Tjay’s rhymes about a carefree day. Trey gets into some tipsy summer fun: “She just want a nigga, fuck her right and make her feel good/Smack it when I hit it, gotta let her know I’m still hood.” Tjay runs through the logistics of no-strings-attached flings, and life as a rising star. The whole track is easygoing, the perfect accompaniment for the warmth of the last days of summer.

Joyner Lucas and Lil Tjay Call Out Influencers on “Dreams Unfold”

2x GRAMMY® Award-nominated rapper Joyner Lucas premieres a thought-provoking collaboration with Bronx superstar Lil Tjay. Joyner Lucas X Lil Tjay’s “Dreams Unfold” is available now via Lucas’ own Twenty Nine Music Group label at all DSPs and streaming services. Directed by Ben Proulx and Joyner Lucas, “Dreams Unfold” is a satirical take on the influence of today’s hip-hop culture on their young impressionable fans. Children watch in awe as their role models glorify sex, drugs and violence. When shown from the point of view of the kids, the message is most clear: let’s be better role models.

On September 5th, Joyner Lucas presents Joyner Fest in his hometown of Worcester, Massachusetts. Joyner Lucas will be performing alongside Lil Skies and Milliz at The Palladium Outdoors. Tickets are available for purchase HERE
