Ahaban – The Green Leaf Foundation is set to raise funds to sustain and expand one of its flagship charitable projects – the Mobile Shelter Program.
This program provides warm meals and food boxes to hundreds of homeless and underprivileged men, women and children in the city of Accra. They do this through bimonthly food distributions, monthly food box distributions as well as clothing donations and health screening exercises. In the last four years, Ahaban together with their partners and donors have been able to distribute over 15,000 warm meals and 7,000 food essential boxes. Their target is to raise GHS 100,000 which would go into acquiring a food van to expand their donations, as well as putting up an Ahaban shelter where they’ll store donations and package the meals and boxes that go out to our beneficiaries.
The concert is set to take place on Friday, 19th November at Alliance Francaise.

Last week, Ghanaian music artist and entrepreneur, Trgmatic was present at the West Africa Business Forum held in Lagos, Nigeria. The 3-day event was organised by the United Nations Economic Transformation for Africa and was under the theme ‘’Empowering women Youths to Spur Africa’s Transformation Agenda’’.
The event saw representatives from across the different West African countries all representing various sectors. The summit included various activities such as panel discussions, exhibitions, mentoring sessions, presentations and many more.
Out of these, Trigmatic moderated a conversation on the Creative Arts, the opportunities as well as the issues around them. He talked about the business principles, visibility and everything that is needed to tell the African story and the Africa way… one thing he’s passionate about.
The West Africa Business Forum is an initiative of the sub-regional Office for West Africa of ECA in partnership with Compass Global Business Services, working with a host of Coalition Partners.
Following weeks of much anticipation, Trigmatic finally dropped his new 6-track EP over the weekend to mark his 36th birthday. In a series of posts and tweets, he highlighted the inspiration for the new EP – ‘’Pipeano’’ spring from his recent trip to Takoradi. Apparently, ‘’Pipeano’’ is the name of a popular junction in the oil city of Takoradi.
‘’Pipeano’’ reflects themes of love, frustration, resilience and hope amid it’s creditworthy production. 5 of the EP’s 6 songs were produced by Takoradi-based producer, Elorm Beat, with the remaining song credited to Swit.
Trigmatic’s new record also features some of Takoradi’s finest musicians. Fans will hear the likes of Pappy Kojo, Township, Ayma, Ayesem and another solid collaboration with Worlasi atop a song titled, ‘Diplomatic Teef’.
